Settled...

Alex just got settled into his room on the orthopedic floor (H70 bed 16 for those that have been asking). We are hoping that he will be moved to one of the colorectal floors as soon as a room opens up. We thought that he may have to stay the night in the noisy PACU, so we are thankful that he got a room at all (this is a very popular and busy hospital!). He is sleeping and seems to be tolerating the pain well. He sends his love to you all and thanks you for the comments and emails of encouragement.

Alex. Keep up the good work. Brenda, Becky and I love you and will continue praying for you, Gena and little Jimmy. Hope your spirits are good. It really is a wonderful life. Tell your mom hi for us. Get stronger and we'll talk to you soon.

Hey Alex, You really shouldn't give mom the evil eye when her phone rings. It is just people wanting to know how you are doing because they all LOVE YOU. : )

P.S. Mom- your phone can be put on vibrate. : )

Love you all!!!

Well, certainly sounds like progress! I pray all continues to run smooth and that you, Gena, can get some rest as well. A recent quote I received: "The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you." Be assured lot of positive thoughts and prayers continue to surround each of you and the doctors and staff. Love, Nancy McKinnis

Sounds like real progress is in the making! Hope you,Gena, get some rest as well. A quote I received recently: "The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you." Be assured that you are both surrounded by many positive thoughts and prayers....the doctors and staff are thoroughly covered as well. Surely it is cooler in Cleveland than in OK! Wish I had an America flag to stick on Alex's bed! Celebrate the 4th! Love, Nancy McKinnis
